In SFST Instructor Development training program, the principal participants are law enforcement officers who have demonstrated proficiency in the administration of the standardized field sobriety tests (SFSTs), and are actively involved in detecting and apprehending impaired drivers.  Participants should be well versed and comfortable with the SFSTs, including the HGN test.
