This 8-hour Red Dot Pistol Course is designed to implement the use of a reflexive sight on a pistol in a Police application. Students will develop skills necessary to properly use a reflexive sight both two handed and single handed. They will also improve on the skills and knowledge to successfully negotiate around obstacles and shoot on the move. Over the 8-hour course, students will record shooting date to compare their performance with back up iron sights and the reflexive sight.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- Reliable handgun with pistol mounted optic, secure holster, magazine pouch
- 3 magazines
- Sturdy belt
- Clothing suitable for training in any weather
- Ear protection
- Wrap around eye protection
- 500 rounds of pistol ammunition
