This course addresses law enforcement legal use of force statutory law including up-to-date case law decisions by higher courts.  This use of force law update includes videos of Officer-Involved shootings cases that he instructor has personally handled. This training will focus on US Supreme Court decisions, Federal Appeals cases, Force Continuums, documentation of an officer's use of force, Garrity issues, the Illinois Peace Officers Disciplinary Act, Defense/Plaintiff's Lawyers attacks on Police Use of Force and Use of Force myths.
