STUDENTS MUST BRING LAPTOPS
This one day, 8-hour program has been designed to assist newly-assigned juvenile officers in developing skills needed to effectively interrogate youths. It will also refresh detention and interrogation skills for experienced officers.
Students will examine and discuss the latest changes to the Juvenile Court Act, Chapter 704, Articles 1 and V, Delinquency Provisions, along with recent court cases directing law enforcement in conducting proper interrogations and interviews while guaranteeing minors’ rights.
