This course addresses law enforcement legal use of force statutory law including up-to-date case law decisions by higher courts. This use of force law update includes videos of Officer-Involved Shootings cases that the instructor has personally handled. This training will focus on US Supreme Court decisions, Federal Appeals cases, Force Continuums, documentation of an officer�s use of force, Garrity issues, the Illinois Peace Officers Disciplinary Act, Defense/Plaintiff�s Lawyers attacks on Police Use-of-Force and Use of Force Myths.
