This 8-hour training course explores the legal, ethical, and practical aspects of the Duty to Intervene for law enforcement officers. It covers Illinois statutes, federal court rulings, and real-life studies where officers failed to intervene. Through lecture, discussion, video analysis, and scenario-based training, participants will learn intervention strategies, review legal precedents, and practice applying these skills in high-pressure situations.
