Use of Force

Law concerning stops, searches, and use of force 2 hours/2 hours scenario based training hours

Officer Safety Techniques 12 hrs./10 hrs. scenario based training hours

Active Threat Response 16 hrs./12 hrs. scenario based training hours

Constitutional & Proper Use of LE Authority 1 hour hours

Emergency Medical Response 1 hour hours

MACTAC is the swift and immediate deployment of law enforcement resources to an Active Threat/Terrorist attack, which may include multiple, simultaneous attack situations. These situations require immediate action and the rapid deployment of patrol officers. Failure to act could have catastrophic consequences resulting in death and/or great bodily harm to innocent people. These incidents may also necessitate the immediate and rapid deployment of patrol personnel to contain and prevent the escape of an armed and dangerous offender or rescue a downed officer and/or civilian.

Please bring duty belt, vest, and rifle if you have one.
