This 40-hour course has been designed to train officers in the basic fundamentals and tactical skill sets of Close Quarter Battle tactics and Active Threat Response. The purpose of this program will be to provide officers with the knowledge, specialized tactical skill sets and strategic understanding to be able to respond to and mitigate threats during a CQB/Active Threat Situation.

This course covers the elements of deliberate and dynamic room clearing, close quarters combat, and structure clearance as it relates to Law Enforcement Officers. Overall team deployment and individual operator skills are both addressed. The tactics and techniques covered build a foundation that both the individual Officer and Law Enforcement teams can easily put into practice.
