MEETS IL MANDATES: Constitutional/Proper Use of LE Authority (30 mins); Cultural Competency (30 mins); Officer Wellness/Mental Health (1 hr); Procedural Justice (2 hrs)

Jan Mirikitani leads the class in group discussions on course learning objectives on Supervisors being committed to their department’s mission towards developing their subordinates towards Officer safety, public safety, & adherence to SOPs. You will discuss multiple forms of leadership & when each is relevant to teambuilding & morale. First-line supervisors come from the ranks but must now support department & community goals bigger than friendships with fellow Officers.
