COURSE DESCRIPTIONThis 4-hour training focuses on understanding the PREA Information Presentation from IN.gov discusses the medical and mental health care that victims of sexual abuse are entitled to under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA). This understanding focuses on mental practitioners, medical practitioners and other employees or contractors that have unsupervised contact with incarcerated inmates.GOALS:The goals of this course are as follows:1. To understand the PREA standards applicable to medical and mental2. To understand the role of the mental health etc. when interacting with inmates3. To understand their responsibilities under PREA standards.
